Young people all over Waveney are being encouraged to think up ideas, which could be a new products, a solution to a current problem or just a service which you think could be both profitable and successful, but remember your competing against all the other young people in Waveney, so there's no limit on how big your idea can be – just go for it.
If you believe in your idea, you will just go for it. That’s what being an entrepreneur is all about.
When applying to pitch your idea, remember that you're pitching your idea to win a cash prize to help get your idea off the ground along with business guidance to help you every step of the way.
However, we can only chose twenty applicants to come and pitch their idea’s to the panel of dragons, therefore make sure when applying that you include the most unique points about your idea and cover every important aspect as well as answering all questions in the application process.
Don’t think you have to be an A* student, to pitch your idea because we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and remember you're already halfway there, because you’ve come up with an idea. It’s important we promote enterprise and entrepreneurship in Lowestoft and Waveney, providing people with inspiration, skills and knowledge they need to realise that running thier own business, designing and making products and becoming an entrepreneur are within anyone’s reach.
