Lowestoft Journal Editor

Currently editor of the Lowestoft Journal and Waveney Advertiser which is part of the Archant group of newspapers with combined two titles reaching up to 60,000 homes in the Lowestoft, Beccles, Bungay, Halesworth and Southwold areas.

One of the major successes since taking over the editorship of The Journal in March 2002 was to bring some lateral thinking into coverage of the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival and bringing forward by 24 hours the print time for the title so it was out on the streets on the first day of the air show subsequently giving a massive lift to the sales which in the first year topped the 24,000 mark .... approx 3,000 additional copies.

Also produced a special Journal on a Monday after Lowestoft took part in the FA Vase Final at Wembley in May 2008 which sold over 6,000 copies.

Have also introduced a series of campaigns into the title to support the community and launched the Sunrise Talent Contest in 2006 and the Pride in the Community Awards in 2008.
